Operating Partners

The Sprouts Foundation proudly serves with the following operating partners in our projects across Asia.

The Po Leung Kuk (PLK) was established as a charitable organisation in the late 19th century for the protection of women and children. With an annual operating budget in excess of US$250 million and more than 8,000 employees in the city, the PLK serves some of the most disadvantaged population groups in Hong Kong -- in particular low-income children and the elderly -- by providing a wide range of welfare and educational services.  The PLK is one of the founding partners of our Education Services Centre in Tai Wai and instrumental in our efforts in Hong Kong.  Read more about the Po Leung Kuk.

The Foreign Correspondents Club of Hong Kong (FCC) was established in the late-1940s after moving to the city from Shanghai. Today it is one of the most recognised such press organisations in the world, with a diverse membership from throughout the local and regional media and business communities.  In 2002, the FCC established its Hong Kong Charity Fund, with the belief that every child had a right to high-quality education.  Since then, it has partnered with various community and financial organisations to support this goal, helping arrange close to US$10 million in programme and scholarship funds over that period.  The FCC is also one of the founding partners of our Education Services Centre in Tai Wai.  Read more about the Foreign Correspondents Club.
